Duke
(formerly Clancy)

Oct 22, 2008
Dear Ann,
Just a quick note to keep you and MTSR up on Duke (aka Clancy). First off, he is doing great.
Second off (and here is the bragging) , he is second in his class training to be a therapy dog.
He and I will take our test mid November in Huntsville and will most likely start work at one
of the local hospitals or nursing homes. Keep you fingers crossed we pass. He is very excited about the whole thing and wanted you all to know. If we pass, I am hoping we might get some publicity or news paper article up for the Nashville papers, could be a great local interest story for the MTSR.
All the best.
Tim

Ann, just thought i would fill you in on a little sweet moment. Drudging around
this morning (time change), I hopped out of bed, opened Duke's cage, reset the
alarm and went back to bed. Shortly his little mussle was poking at my arm, I
reached down and scooped him up and we snuggled for a good few minutes until
the alarm once again sent me scrambling. That marks the first day he has
actually snuggled with out wanting to jump up and run around. I think he is
starting to feel at home!

Tim
ps: i had started closing his cage because he kinda gets restless and runs
around in the middle of the night. hopefully with time he will move to the foot of the bed!
